A story about rats and traps and family and love, which in no way accurately represents my true feelings about rodents. Or about family.
As well as being published by The Masters Review, this story also appeared in (and provided a title for) my chapbook of short stories, published by Stonewood Press. It’s a real handome little book, and includes a flyleaf with a print of a particularly vicious rat trap.
As with a lot of my short fiction, I have released this story into the public domain. This means you can use it any way you like, including making a profit from it. Let me know if you do anything interesting with it!
