For a (mercifully) brief time, if you were to attend an interview at a modern tech company, you’d almost certainly be asked at least one ludicrous question. How many ping-pong balls fit in a plane? What kind of superhero are you? Would you rather be a bear or fight a bear?

Thankfully, this trend has more or less died out by now. It was fun while it lasted, but it was also terrible. This piece for Mimeo explores why, and what you should ask during an interview instead (spoiler: you should ask normal, sensible interview questions).
