For most of my career I’ve been more than one thing: freelance writer, publisher, game designer, busker. Having many disparate strands to a creative career can make things difficult: how do you classify yourself? What are you? How do you make progress?

In this piece I explore some of those questions through the lens of a person of mixed race.
