When I was really little I used to feel safe no matter what. When I was with Mum, because she was strong. When I wasn't because I knew I was her kid and that meant that I was strong too. That I'd grow up like her and nobody would tell me what to do or where to go and I'd be free and alive, just like she kept saying.
