Mum talks a little bit like a bank robber sometimes. When she's manic or when she's planning something. She talks like people do in movies, not like people do in real life. But I don't mind when it's her. It suits her. She's more real than real life anyway, so when she says things like "lay low" or "make a break for it" it doesn't sound stupid like it would if it was coming from anyone else in the world.
