The kitchen is just like the rest of the cottage. Very small and nice. There's a big wooden table in the middle and the top is covered in scratches and dents from how old it is. There are net curtains in the windows and little paintings in little frames all over the wall. There's a vase of flowers which are plastic but you'd never be able to tell unless you looked really close.

On the table there's a book, and in the book lots of different people have written things. Things like, We had a lovely weekend, thanks for everything. And, Such a lovely little cottage - will see you at Christmas! Joanne & Paula xx. I think that I'll ask Mum about it at some point, but not yet.
