The Pilot’s Wife is a short story about a couple who move to the desert with a helicopter, and their dog, and each other, and not much else.
This story was published and performed by Liarsโ League. You can watch a video of it being read, or just read the text. The video is lovely, though.
The Pilot’s Wife by Krishan Coupland is marked CC0 1.0. As with a lot of my short fiction, I have released this story into the public domain. This means you can use it any way you like, including making a profit from it. Let me know if you do anything interesting with it!
This story inspired the lyrics for a song by The Shamoozers, who were kind enough to allow me to share their work here. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I did!
