“The bomb fell on the morning of their wedding. For weeks afterwards, when he slept at all, he always dreamed the same dream. He saw them married in their tiny house by the harbour. Rarely did anything exciting happen. He read. She watered her plants. They made love, or spoke about their days. In the dreams the sky was bright and unbroken. In the dreams the city hummed around them like a hive of bees.”

Updated each morning, Archipelago is a collection of three-hundred-and-sixty-five tiny stories, one for each day of the year 2015. Subscribe to receive posts by email, or bookmark the page and check back regularly for updates.
